What is Open Tabs?

Open Tabs is a one day technology conference for technology professionals across the education sector. Our goal is to get the frontline technology staff the opportunity to network and expand their knowledge though connections with one another.

Why is it called Open Tabs?

Open Tabs came from the idea that throughout our day as technology professionals we constantly bounce from one task (or tab) to another. Often leaving the previous tab open to continue working and building on it to improve. Plus, how take a look at your browser, how many Open Tabs do you have right now?

How much does Open Tabs cost?

Nothing! Our goal is to allow frontline staff to get the opportunity to join in on the networking style events that are frequently limited to just those in management roles.

Do you share my information?

We may provide the name, title, and email to sponsors of the event.

Is there a dress code?

Business casual, typical work wear, don't wear a suit or heels.

Is WiFi available?

Yes! Please use AIU3_Secure_Guest SSID during the event.

Who is running this event?

Open Tabs is run by a planning committee of staff from the AIU Technology Services department.
